Nanos Fireworks, the oldest and most prestigious fireworks company in Greece, brings to L'International the art and experience of four generations. The year 2012 was widely believed as being the end-date of the world according to Mayan civilization. Yet for New Agers it's the beginning of a new era. Nanos Fireworks allegorically transposed this scenario into modern society to create a spectacular two-part show. First the digital world takes over and leads to destruction, but through the ashes a new hope arises and the rebirth of humanity is achieved. This Renaissance is delivered through the art performance of Katerina Tapeinou, awarded former member of the Greek national team of synchronized swimmers.
